YouYou’s inspiration comes from various musical eras, scenes and film scores from around the world, as well as from her large musical family. Spanning multiple BPMs and genres, YouYou remains hungry for intelligent variety: from sounds of innovative synths, live instruments and as a classically trained vocalist, she blends everything from ambient, funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, disco and world, to darker realms of underground rave-infused house, bass, IDM, electro, acid, breaks and techno, with plenty that falls between the cracks.
